We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, and sheet metal design , capable of creating and developing detailed designs and drawings for various lift components, cabins, panels, and mechanical structures used in elevator manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop elevator components, cabins, machine structures, and panels using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Create 2D fabrication drawings and 3D models for sheet metal parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure manufacturability and ease of assembly. Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing. Ensure that all designs meet engineering standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements. Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from production or site engineers. Coordinate with purchase and vendor teams for material selection and fabrication feasibility. Participate in R&D and new product development for modern lift designs. Required Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D Strong command over SolidWorks / Inventor (especially for sheet metal & assembly) Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design, Fabrication Drawings, and Tolerances Good understanding of elevator mechanical systems (car, counterweight, frame, landing doors, cabin interiors, etc.) Strong visualization and design interpretation skills Attention to detail and quality control mindset Ability to work under tight timelines and coordinate with multiple departments Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,034.62 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Work Location: In person
