Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, and sheet metal design, capable of creating and developing detailed designs and drawings for various lift components, cabins, panels, and mechanical structures used in elevator manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop elevator components, cabins, machine structures, and panels using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Create 2D fabrication drawings and 3D models for sheet metal parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
• Work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure manufacturability and ease of assembly.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Ensure that all designs meet engineering standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from production or site engineers.
• Coordinate with purchase and vendor teams for material selection and fabrication feasibility.
• Participate in R&D and new product development for modern lift designs.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Strong command over SolidWorks / Inventor (especially for sheet metal & assembly)
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design, Fabrication Drawings, and Tolerances
• Good understanding of elevator mechanical systems (car, counterweight, frame, landing doors, cabin interiors, etc.)
• Strong visualization and design interpretation skills
• Attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Ability to work under tight timelines and coordinate with multiple departments

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,034.62 - ₹18,000.00 per month
