Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in Human Resources (HR Generalist) at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting and driving the HR function across the employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - Managing end-to-end recruitment for mid-level and site roles in coordination with line managers - Building talent pipelines through sourcing strategies and industry networks - Overseeing seamless onboarding and induction for new hires, including site-based staff - Employee Life Cycle Management - Maintaining employee records, updating HRMIS, and handling documentation from joining to exit - Conducting regular HR audits to ensure compliance and data integrity - Performance Management - Facilitating the annual and mid-year performance appraisal process - Supporting in KRA setting, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) - Guiding line managers on performance development strategies - Employee Relations & Engagement - Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances - Conducting regular site visits and HR connect sessions - Driving engagement initiatives including cultural events, R&R programs, and communication forums - Compliance & Statutory Adherence - Ensuring compliance with labour laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements - Liaising with external agencies/auditors for compliance checks and inspections - Managing contractor labour compliance and coordinating with site HR/admin staff - Learning & Development - Identifying training needs in collaboration with department heads - Coordinating functional and behavioural training programs for staff and site teams - Tracking training effectiveness and maintaining development plans - HR Reporting & Analytics - Preparing monthly HR dashboards on headcount, attrition, hiring metrics, etc. - Providing insights to management through data-driven HR analysis You should possess a strong understanding of HR generalist functions in project-based/site-heavy environments, hands-on experience with HR systems, recruitment platforms, and MS Excel, knowledge of Indian labour laws and regulatory compliances, excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills, and high attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Qualifications required for this role include an MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a recognized institution, and any certifications in HR analytics will be an added advantage. If you have prior experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors, as well as exposure to managing site HR operations and blue-collar workforce coordination, it will be a plus.,
