Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room is a one-of-its-kind contemporary Burmese restaurant chain, celebrated for its authentic vegetarian Burmese cuisine, curated teas, and immersive cultural experience. We are expanding our team and are looking for passionate HR professionals who can contribute to our people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for the Chandigarh location (front of house, back of house, and support roles).
• Ensure smooth onboarding, induction, and joining formalities for all new hires.

• Employee Engagement & Welfare:

• Drive engagement activities to ensure a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and concerns.

• HR Operations:

• Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave management.
• Support payroll inputs and coordinate with the corporate HR/payroll team.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.

• Performance & Training:

• Support in conducting performance reviews, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
• Coordinate training sessions and skill development initiatives for employees.

• Compliance & Documentation:

• Handle PF, ESIC, PT, and other statutory compliance documentation.
• Maintain proper HR documentation, offer letters, contracts, and exit formalities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 13 years of experience as an HR Executive/HR Coordinator, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant/hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
