Role Summary

As a HR Business Consultant, you will partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, driving workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement. You will provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, leadership development and diversity initiatives while ensuring HR compliance. This role requires strong advisory skills, strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. You will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance HR programs and policies, fostering a high-performance culture.

Core Responsibilities

1. Lead tax projects ensuring accurate implementation of tax processes.
2. Oversee the completion and filing of domestic and international tax returns. 3. Analyze financial documents and general ledger for accurate tax accounting. 4. Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws. 5. Consult on tax regulations and provide internal guidance. 6. Develop and maintain global tax policies and procedures. 7. Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. 8. Collaborate with external consultants and regulatory agencies. 9. Conduct tax research, analysis, and recommend tax optimization strategies. 10. Participate in special tax-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in tax accounting and compliance.
• Chartered Accountant, MBA, or equivalent degree in finance, law, or risk management.
• CPA, CTA or equivalent financial designation preferred.
• Expertise in domestic and international tax regulations, financial analysis, compliance and tax implications.

Location

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard’s India office. Only qualified external applicants will be considered.
