Job Description

Position Purpose

To provide HR leadership and end-to-end HR support during the setup and operationalization phase of the new green field facility, ensuring smooth hiring, statutory compliance, effective workforce management, and liaison with authorities.

Semi-retired or recently retired HR professionals with sound health, who can join at short notice, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment for staff and blue-collar workforce during the project phase.
Ensure statutory and labour law compliance applicable in Maharashtra.
Manage HR operations at the plant including time office, attendance, payroll coordination, and contract labour management.
Drive workforce training, skill development, and onboarding programs.
Liaise with statutory authorities, local bodies, contractors, and external stakeholders for compliance and smooth project execution.
Support plant leadership in building employee relations and maintaining harmonious industrial relations.
Provide HR inputs for policies and systems suited to the new facility setup.
Contribute to smooth establishment of HR processes and practices for the greenfield project.

Qualification & Experience

Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, IR or related field.
15+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to plant HR operations.
Excellent knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance in Maharashtra.
Hands-on experience in recruitment, training, employee relations, and liaison with statutory bodies.
Prior exposure to greenfield plant setup will be an added advantage.
