Job Description

Candidate Profile: Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical Engineering Experience: 12+ years of experience in Operations Management in a manufacturing setup. Prior experience in Automotive Switches Manufacturing is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with Injection Molding, SMT Processes, and Semi-Automatic Assembly Lines. Experience of working on Greenfield projects will be added advantage Exposure to working in IATF 16949-certified environments. Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems for operations management. Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all plant operations including Assembly, Injection Molding, and SMT processes. Ensure effective planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes to meet production targets. Monitor and drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency, equipment uptime, and production output. Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer specifications. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence across teams. Implement and track KPIs for production, quality, downtime, yield, and delivery. Ensure timely and cost-effective production aligned with OEM delivery schedules. Plan manpower and optimize workforce deployment in coordination with HR. Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering functions to resolve bottlenecks. Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operators; manage performance and skill development. Support implementation of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies. Utilize ERP/SAP systems for production planning, reporting, and material traceability. Support strategic operational planning in alignment with company growth targets. Impact / Success Metrics: Improvement in plant and line efficiencies. Achievement of on-time delivery performance to OEMs. Reduction in production costs and downtime. Increased yield and reduced rejection rates. Sustained compliance with quality and safety standards. Team productivity and development.
