Job Description

Overview:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic advisor and consultant to leadership within the assigned region, aligning people strategies with business goals. This role encompasses key areas such as change management, organizational development, cultural transformation, employee engagement, inclusion, diversity & equity (ID&E), talent management, and workforce planning. The HRBP will be instrumental in driving initiatives that foster a dynamic, efficient, and high-performing organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Consultation:

    Partner with regional and local leadership to align HR policies and programs with business objectives, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance and employee engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insights:

    Leverage dashboards, analytics tools, and reports to identify trends in employee engagement, retention, attrition, and workforce planning, offering actionable guidance.
  • Change Management:

    Effectively lead and manage change initiatives related to HR programs and organizational goals.
  • Collaboration:

    Work with cross-functional teams, including Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition, to implement company-wide initiatives.
  • Leadership Support:

    Provide HR expertise in talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and internal mobility decisions. Coach leaders to enhance managerial capabilities and build bench strength within teams.
  • Policy Development & Compliance:

    Design and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, ensure compliance with employment laws, and maintain alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Employee Relations:

    Advise and coach leaders on hiring, training, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employee lifecycle matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal practices.
  • Training & Development:

    Assess organizational needs and design/facilitate training programs to enhance professional and soft skills, compliance, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive cost-effective solutions to meet business needs.
  • Engagement:

    Build relationships with managers and employees across offices, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Legal Support:

    Collaborate with the legal team to respond to employment-related claims and participate in mediations when necessary.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred). Equivalent HR experience with a high school diploma/GED is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience, with expertise in state and federal employment law compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide timely and practical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to navigate a matrixed environment effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills to manage competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead conflict resolution, facilitate meetings, and drive consensus.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical capabilities to interpret data and identify trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in talent acquisition, retention strategies, and ID&E initiatives.
  • Experience in organizational development and change management.
  • Familiarity with HR tools and analytics dashboards.
