Job Description

Position: HSE Manager / Lead

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: BE / B.Tech + PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)

Experience: 10–15 years (with strong experience in managing HSE functions in Oil & Gas / Petroleum industry, including team leadership)

Responsibilities

Lead and ensure the effective implementation of the HSEMS (Health, Safety & Environmental Management System) across the site.
Oversee and validate Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) / Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all activities carried out by the Site/Facility team.
Drive Safety Training sessions and Safety Motivation programs to strengthen awareness and promote a proactive safety culture.
Ensure compliance of the Site SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) team/management with client contractual requirements, while gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Review, approve, and circulate monthly HSE statistical reports, presentations, audit reports, and inspection reports, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and record keeping.
Chair regular Safety Meetings to review overall performance, address key issues, and foster a culture of safety leadership and accountability.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the site HSE team, ensuring alignment with corporate safety objectives and industry best practices.
