NowFloats is dedicated to enhancing the online discoverability of small and medium businesses (SMBs) through innovative technology like location-based SEO. By structuring SMB content for optimum local search results, NowFloats helps businesses connect with their target audience effectively. The company provides both organic discovery models with automated SEO and hybrid models leveraging tools like Google Ads and Facebook Ads for immediate business impact. Additionally, NowFloats offers RIA, a Relationship Intelligence Agent, to streamline customer engagement with minimal manual effort.


This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Intern at NowFloats. The Human Resources Intern will be involved in HR management, developing HR policies, managing employee benefits, and handling personnel management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support:

     Filing, data entry, updating employee records, and maintaining confidential documents.
  • Recruitment and hiring:

     Posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with background checks.
  • Onboarding and offboarding:

     Helping with new hire orientation, completing new hire paperwork, and assisting with exit procedures.
  • Employee relations:

     Answering employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Projects and reports:

     Assisting with HR projects, drafting HR documents, and helping to prepare reports.
  • Other tasks:

     Supporting employee engagement activities, coordinating corporate events, and performing other general administrative duties.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education:

     Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often required.
  • Communication:

     Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Technical skills:

     Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) are beneficial.
  • Soft skills:

     Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a professional demeanor are important


Job Type: Internship

  • Contract length

    : 3 months
  • Stipend

    : 10-15k per month
