Role Overview :
As our HR Officer, you’ll be responsible for implementing HR processes and policies, ensuring smooth hiring and onboarding, managing payroll and compliance, and driving performance review cycles. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be both an HR operator and a trusted advisor for the team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :
● Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and build effective job descriptions.
● Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating final selections.
● Conduct onboarding to integrate new hires smoothly into the team and culture.
2. HR Policies & Compliance :
● Implement and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
● Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF/ESI, gratuity, contracts, etc.).
3. Payroll & Employee Administration :
● Manage payroll processing accurately and on time, in coordination with Accounts/Finance.
● Maintain employee records, contracts, leaves, and attendance systems.
4. Performance Management :
● Drive quarterly and annual performance review cycles with managers.
● Track progress on individual and team goals; help leaders give structured feedback.
● Support leadership in identifying high-potential employees and development needs.
5. Culture & Employee Engagement:
● Be a trusted point of contact for employees; ensure people feel heard and supported.
● Help foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
● Proactively identify morale issues and propose solutions.
What We’re Looking For
● 3–6 years of HR generalist experience (open to slightly less if maturity and leadership presence is demonstrated).
● Minimum age 28; someone colleagues can look up to and trust.
● Strong knowledge of HR operations: recruitment, payroll, compliance, performance management.
● High emotional maturity, integrity, and confidentiality.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
