HR Manager – Job Description Job Title: HR Manager Location: KK Nagar, Vadapalani - Chennai Experience: 5–10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Manage end-to-end recruitment process for all levels. Create job descriptions, post vacancies, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews. Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements. 2. Employee Onboarding & Induction Plan and execute smooth onboarding activities. Ensure proper documentation and maintain employee records. Conduct orientation sessions for new joiners. 3. HR Operations Maintain HRIS / employee database. Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documents. Handle payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance coordination. People Management & Ability to Help Employees Adapt to the Work Culture     4. Performance Management Implement performance appraisal systems (monthly/quarterly/annual). Support managers in evaluating employee performance. Identify training and development needs. 5. Employee Relations Manage employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution. Build a positive, motivated work culture. Conduct employee engagement activities. 6. Compliance & Policies Ensure adherence to HR policies, labour laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements. Draft and update HR policies as per company needs. 7. Training & Development Organize skill-development and leadership training. Coordinate internal and external training programs. 8. Exit Formalities Manage resignations, exit interviews, F&F settlement coordination. Ensure proper offboarding documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or related field. 5–10 years of progressive HR experience. Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, and recruitment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving ability with a high level of professionalism. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
