Job Description – HR Manager

Location: Santacruz west

Reporting To: Director

Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training & development, and HR operations. The role ensures smooth HR processes, supports management, and helps create a positive and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and issue offer letters.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new joiners.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities to improve morale and retention.
  • Maintain a positive work culture and open communication.

3. HR Operations

  • Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and employee records.
  • Ensure proper documentation of employees (joining, exit, transfers).
  • Oversee HRMS/biometric attendance systems.

4. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Create, review, and update HR policies and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with auditors and government authorities as required.

5. Performance Management

  • Implement and maintain performance appraisal systems.
  • Guide managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans (PIP).
  • Track probation confirmations and appraisal cycles.

6. Training & Development

  • Assess training needs of staff.
  • Organize internal/external training programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.

7. Exit Management

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze reasons for attrition.
  • Ensure timely clearance, full & final settlements, and handovers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management (industry-specific experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
