Job Title: HR Manager – Onshore (Recruitment & Operations)

Location: Mohali Sector 82 JLPL
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: Director / CEO
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Office time: 5:00 am to 1:30 Pm

Role Overview:

The HR Manager – Onshore will lead the recruitment and HR operations functions for the onshore team, with a key focus on talent acquisition (70%) and HR operations (30%). The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience (8–10 years), including at least 4–5 years managing onshore recruitment and operations, preferably within a dynamic, multi-location or international setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (70%)

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for onshore roles — from workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing contract and to onboarding.
  • Develop and execute strategic hiring plans aligned with business needs and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and partnership with agencies or platforms.
  • Work closely with directors or department heads to define role requirements and selection criteria.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics (TAT, source effectiveness, hiring cost) and prepare regular recruitment reports for management.
  • Promote employer branding initiatives to strengthen job portals of the organization’s
  • Ensure all recruitment processes are compliant with onshore employment laws and internal policies.

HR Operations (30%)

  • Oversee day-to-day employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and audit HR records and documentation.
  • Manage onshore payroll coordination, leave and attendance oversight, and employee benefits administration in collaboration with the accounts/payroll team.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
  • Support and monitor performance appraisal cycles and employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with CEO/Directors for leadership teams for process alignment, policy updates, and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian laws, recruitment standards, and compliance can be a plus point for selection.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capability.
  • Strong multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/ATS systems and MS Office tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of overall HR experience, with 4–5 years of proven experience in onshore recruitment and HR operations.
  • Experience in the education, consultancy, or professional services industry can be a plus point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
