HR Generalist with Payroll Experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Administration:

• Process payroll for hospital staff, including physicians, nurses, administrative personnel, and support staff, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  
• Maintain detailed and accurate payroll records for all employees, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific pay structures (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, and Etc ).
  
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Work closely with the finance department to ensure payroll compliance with budget and hospital policies.
  
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-related wage and hour laws, including regulations specific to the hospital industry.
  
• Prepare payroll reports for leadership, including headcount, overtime costs, and other financial analysis as needed.
  

2. Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in the recruitment process, particularly for clinical staff, nursing teams, and administrative roles.
  
• Support the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes for new employees in compliance with hospital policies and standards.
  
• Ensure new hires are provided with appropriate training and orientation specific to healthcare settings, including NABH regulations, safety standards, and infection control practices.

3. Employee Relations & Support:

• Serve as a point of contact for hospital employees regarding HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
  
• Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with hospital policies .
  
• Promote a positive hospital culture and foster open communication between staff and management.
  

4. Benefits Administration:

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness benefits tailored to hospital staff.
  
• Coordinate open enrollment periods for health benefits and ensure proper communication of benefits options to hospital employees.
  
• Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, including claims and coverage options.

5. Performance Management:

• Assist with performance evaluations for clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring proper documentation and feedback.
  
• Support leadership in implementing hospital-wide employee development programs, including training for clinical skills, customer service, and compliance-related topics.
  
• Help facilitate staff recognition programs and other initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention in a hospital setting.

Qualifications :

• Education:

  MBA Or Any Degree or B tech

Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, with significant experience in payroll administration in a healthcare or hospital environment.
  
• Strong understanding of payroll systems and healthcare-specific payroll requirements.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with hospital staff at all levels.
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with HRIS and hospital management systems (e.g., Greythr, Zoho Etc )
