Job Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring smooth recruitment, payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, and administrative support. This role also supports employee engagement, training, policy implementation, and HR reporting to maintain an effective and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
- Handle end-to-end recruitment including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and closing positions.
- Manage full onboarding processes including document collection, induction, and system access setup.
2. Payroll
- Prepare monthly salary sheets and process salary disbursements through bank portals.
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory contributions including ESI, PF, LWF, and Professional Tax.
3. Employee Offboarding
- Coordinate exit formalities and full & final settlements (F&F).
- Manage offboarding documentation and ensure smooth transition of departing employees.
4. Attendance and Leave Management
- Maintain accurate attendance and leave records.
- Ensure timely updates for payroll and reporting purposes.
5. Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR databases.
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of HR and administrative documents.
6. General Administration
- Support day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with HR-related coordination across departments.
7. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Organize team activities, events, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Support programs that enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.
8. Training & Development Support
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
- Maintain training records and track employee development initiatives.
9. HR Policy Implementation & Grievance Support
- Communicate HR policies to employees and ensure compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, supporting grievance resolution.
10. HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR reports such as headcount, attrition, and attendance summaries.
- Assist management in HR planning and decision-making through data insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations, preferably as an HR Generalist
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance (ESI, PF, LWF, Professional Tax)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
Salary Range
Starting from ₹28,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
