About The Role We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Naval Architecture graduates to join our team as Trainee Naval Architects. This position is ideal for freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience who are keen to develop their careers in the design and development of innovative, sustainable marine vessels. As a trainee, you will be involved in the end-to-end ship design process and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring clean marine technologies to life. What You’ll Be Doing? An overview of your core tasks and daily activities in this role: Assist in the creation of vessel designs including hull form development, structural layout, and hydrostatics. Support the evaluation of vessel performance using hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations. Participate in research and preliminary studies to determine technical feasibility and design optimization. Create and modify vessel drawings using CAD tools under the guidance of senior naval architects. Understand and apply classification society rules and regulatory standards in design practices. Prepare and maintain design documents, technical reports, and drawing packages. Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure integrated vessel development. What are we looking for? To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: B.Tech/B.E. in Naval Architecture (freshers or up to 1 year experience)with a CGPA of 7.0 or above; backlogs are not a constraint. Basic understanding of naval architecture principles including hydrostatics, ship structures, resistance & propulsion, and stability. Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxsurf, etc.) is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow under the mentorship of experienced professionals. Analytical thinking and initiative to contribute to design improvements. What we offer Selected candidates will be offered a competitive starting salary of ₹18,000 per month.
