Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled HR Executive specializing in Payroll Management and Labour Compliance to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Payroll Management:Process payroll for employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, bonuses, deductions, and other financial components. Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, overtime, leave balances, and deductions. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations (e.g., EPF, ESI, PT, Tax). Coordinate with the Finance department for the smooth disbursement of salaries and resolve any discrepancies. Manage tax calculations, prepare tax reports, and assist employees with queries related to tax deductions. Generate and maintain payroll reports for audits and management reviews. Monitor and update employee benefits (insurance, provident fund, etc.) as per policy guidelines. Labour Compliance:Ensure the company’s adherence to all local, state, and national labor laws, including but not limited to minimum wage, working hours, employee benefits, and leave policies. Regularly audit internal policies and practices to ensure compliance with labour laws and industry standards. Liaise with government departments, regulatory bodies, and third-party agencies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain records related to employee contracts, labor law compliance, and other statutory documentation. Prepare and file necessary statutory returns and reports to government authorities on time (e.g., PF, ESI, tax). Assist in managing inspections and audits by labor authorities, ensuring the company is fully compliant with regulations. General HR Responsibilities:Address and resolve any HR-related queries from employees regarding payroll, benefits, and compliance matters. Assist in preparing HR-related reports and presentations for management. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information. Provide support in recruitment, onboarding, and other HR activities as needed.
