Job Description

The purpose of the role is to support the Head of HR, India & OPS in embedding a strategic value-add HR function in India, working as an integral member of the India team. As a part of the centralised HR & Facilities team, you will contribute to and deliver CIFF's organizational-wide people strategy, with a specific focus on the India team. Your role involves business partnering at CIFF by managing all elements of a generalist HR role for the designated areas, ensuring effective delivery of the day-to-day operational agenda related to attraction, development, reward, and retention of talent. You will work closely with senior leaders to deliver and embed the People Strategy, upskill people managers, and lead with best-in-class HR practices. Your operational focus will support the Head of HR India and OPS in ensuring diversity across all HR activities and building organizational and people capability. You will report to the Head of HR India and OPS and collaborate with the HR & Facilities sub-teams to ensure the team's success through effective communication and teamwork across different locations and teams. Your responsibilities will include operating as a partner to India team members, keeping abreast of HR best practices, acting as an ambassador for the People agenda, building strong relationships with the India team, promoting high performance and an inclusive culture, conducting regular 1-1s, supporting in HR reporting and analysis, maintaining knowledge of employment law, using data for decision-making, and delivering practical HR policy and advice. Additionally, you will work on employee relations activities, recruitment processes, reward management, learning and development strategies, and HR projects. Key working relationships will include the CIFF People & Culture team, India team, and external service partners. The requirements for this role include experience in HR business partnering, stakeholder management, coaching, HR fundamentals, international/NGO experience, employment law knowledge, HR Information Systems, communication skills, interpersonal skills, integrity, psychometric testing, attention to detail, leadership skills, passion for CIFF's mission, and adaptability. The salary for this role is INR 37,70,303, and benefits include annual leave, bonus scheme, training allowance, wellbeing allowance, life insurance, and medical insurance.
