As a Human Resources (HR) Manager/HR Officer at our school in Hyderabad, your role will involve managing various HR functions to support the school's leadership team and staff. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating recruitment activities for teaching and non-teaching staff, such as advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews. You will also assist in finalizing hiring decisions and ensure background checks and reference verifications are completed. Additionally, maintaining a recruitment database and talent pipeline will be part of your duties. - Managing the onboarding process for new staff members, including conducting orientation sessions, handling documentation, and assisting with benefits enrollment. You will also provide support for international hires, including visa processing, relocation assistance, and cultural integration. Ensuring new staff receive necessary handbooks, policies, and IT access is essential. - Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records, staff files, and contracts will be a critical aspect of your role. Monitoring staff leave balances, attendance records, and contract renewal dates will also fall under your responsibilities. - Developing and implementing HR policies in line with school values and local labor laws will be expected. Ensuring legal compliance related to employment contracts, labor regulations, and workplace safety is crucial. Staying up to date with changes in employment law and HR best practices is necessary. - Supporting professional development initiatives, coordinating appraisal processes, and addressing staff concerns or grievances professionally and confidentially will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be tasked with promoting a positive, inclusive, and respectful school culture by organizing staff engagement events, well-being programs, and recognition initiatives. - Contributing to strategic planning around recruitment, retention, and workforce development will be expected. Providing HR reports and data analysis for school leadership, participating in HR audits, and internal evaluations are also part of the role. Qualifications and requirements for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in an educational or international setting. - Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices. - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. - High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. - Proficiency in HR software systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. - Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
