The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware/software. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure. Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices. Administer and support core Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange. Configure and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Ensure system security through access controls, firewalls, and regular audits. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies. Collaborate with other departments to support software, hardware, and network solutions. Stay current with technological developments and recommend improvements. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). fresher to 1 year of experience in system administration or related field. Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and/or Linux server environments. Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V). Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is desirable.
