Job Description

Job Title: HR-Admin Support

Job Type: Long Term Contract Role

Key Responsibilities

HR Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in recruitment activities including resume screening, interview coordination, and maintaining candidate databases.
  2. Coordinate new employee onboarding, induction, and training programs.
  3. Maintain and monitor attendance, leave, overtime records, and ensure timely reporting.
  4. Issue ID cards, punch cards, uniforms, and joining kits for new employees.
  5. Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication activities.
  6. Assist in compliance with labor laws and support statutory audit documentation.
  7. Track and support documentation and compliance for site-level contractors.
  8. Help manage documentation related to legal, CSR, and HR records.

Admin Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily administrative operations such as housekeeping, canteen, security, transportation, and gardening.
  2. Coordinate facility maintenance like plumbing, pest control, and carpentry.
  3. Manage office supplies procurement, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination.
  4. Coordinate for arrangements for visitors and employees.
  5. Use SAP or equivalent systems for invoice processing, vendor billing, and payment tracking.
  6. Maintain records of office equipment/assets and ensure upkeep of administrative areas.
  7. Lead and coordinate office events, celebrations, and awareness campaigns.
  8. Support cross-functional teams with admin requirements and general arrangements.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in HR/Admin role, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • HR Knowledge: Sound understanding of HR operations, statutory compliance, and labor law basics.
  • Admin Strength: Strong organizational, planning, and administrative skills; ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Event Management: Experience in coordinating internal events and celebrations.
