MOL operates bulk carriers, container ships, cruise ships, ferries and coastal liners, tankers that transport crude oil, oil products or liquid chemical, and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), etc.MOL GLOBAL SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is MOL's wholly owned subsidiary company and specialized in ship management of LNG carriers. Although MOL has already have several ship management companies specialized in LNG carriers where MOL wholly or partially owns all over the world, MOL had founded this company additionally in Singapore on June 2022 in order to cope with expanding fleet size of LNG carriers owned by MOL. As the solid status as environmentally friendly fuel, LNG 's future is promising. MOL has expanded the LNG fleet to 100 to meet increasing transportation demand. And the expansion of this LNG carrier business is the "main engine" for the growth strategy of entire MOL Group. This new company is expected to contribute to this Group's strategy.
Job Responsibilities
HR & GA Manager shall report to Deputy General Manager and shall have the responsibility to:
- Act as the primary HR liaison in India for MOL Global Ship Management Pte. Ltd., Singapore.
- Support end-to-end recruitment for Singapore-based roles, including coordination with agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely reporting to the Singapore office.
- Facilitate cross-border communication and cultural alignment between India and Singapore teams.
- Perform full spectrum of office administrative operations and functions, insurance and licenses renewal, office procurement.
- Perform full spectrum of support for HR functions including monthly payroll, final payment calculation, salary tax, PF, recruitment, training & development, compensation & benefits management, performance evaluation, employee relations and staff activities
- Perform annual reconciliation of all expenses towards HR/Admin of the LNG fleet in Mumbai and submit it timely to the Management/Head of F&A (MOL India). Coordinate with Head of F&A (MOL India) for accounting and reconciliation of the LNG fleet.
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with business and legal requirements.
- Update and release organizations chart, duty division and duty positions.
- Filling of Management Meetings and Managing Director/ Directors Approval.
- Preparation for meetings and minutes.
- Manage staff profiles in HR system.
- Monitor and update staff leave record and attendance and generate report to management.
- Arrange monthly rental payment for Japanese expatriates apartment.
- Assist in periodic project such as policies review, performance management, bonus and salary review, etc.
- Prepare headcount and budget plan for management review.
- Coordinate with HSE for ISO audit purpose.
- Corporate planning.
- Coordinate expatriates for Employment visa, and related passes, searching school & apartment.
- Guiding and training to junior staffs in team.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and Management.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience
- Hands-on and experience in leading Full HR Spectrum as HR Generalist
- Good knowledge on Indian Employment Legislation
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with every level of people
- Self-motivated individual and good team player with positive working attitude
- Meticulous, detail oriented, good interpersonal skills, accountable and must be able to maintain confidentiality and work independently
