About the Organisation:

Lighthouse Communities Foundation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth. This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation. The Lighthouses are run through a public-private partnership that empowers the Government, Corporates, NGOs and Citizens to work together towards changing lives. The provision of location and capital expenditure for the Lighthouse centres is taken care of by the Government. Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide operational expenses. NGOs come on board to provide various skilling courses to the youth. With penetration in more than 400 of the 500 odd slum communities of Pune, the program has now expanded to other cities viz. PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad and also States viz. Delhi, Odisha and in Hyderabad.

Role overview:

The HR Admin will provide comprehensive administrative and human resources support to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the Hyderabad centres. S/he will play a key role in coordinating HR processes, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and facilitating day-to-day administrative functions. By ensuring timely HR and administrative assistance to all centres, the HR Admin contributes significantly to effective personnel management and the overall operational efficiency at LCF.

Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:

  • Office & Infrastructure Support: Ensure all office equipment and infrastructure are functional, coordinating timely repair and maintenance as needed.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff and external partners on HR and administrative matters for the Hyderabad region.
  • Centre Maintenance Oversight: Support and supervise daily maintenance needs at centres, including electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, drinking water, and overall workplace upkeep.
  • Workplace Readiness: Ensure that workstations, washrooms, and common areas across the centres remain clean, safe, and fully operational.
  • Employee Support: Respond promptly to staff requests related to HR or administrative needs, ensuring timely resolution.
  • HR & Logistics Assistance: Provide logistical and administrative support during workshops, trainings, meetings, and other HR-led events.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of office supplies, HR materials, and assets allocated to different centres.
  • Travel Coordination: Support staff travel arrangements, including booking transportation and accommodation as required.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain organised HR and administrative documentation, including employee records, invoices, receipts, and contracts.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor in support of HR and organisational objectives.

Who we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in HR administration, logistics, or general administrative roles, ideally within the NGO or development sector.
  • Prior experience coordinating with vendors and service providers.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites or centres as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documentation, records, and HR processes efficiently.
