Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and staff zones. Your responsibilities will include supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to maintain high cleanliness standards. - Allocate tasks to housekeeping staff, monitor their performance, and provide guidance as needed. - Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities regularly to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. - Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and service quality expectations. - Manage housekeeping inventory, request supplies when necessary, and maintain records of inventory. - Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally. - Keep detailed housekeeping records, inspection checklists, and shift logs. - Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification of a High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a senior housekeeping role. - Strong leadership and organizational skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with cleaning materials, equipment, and best practices. - Physically fit to perform inspections and support tasks when necessary. Additional Details: - Preferred qualifications include experience in hotel, resort, hospital, or facility management. - Basic computer skills or experience using housekeeping management tools are advantageous. - Multilingual abilities are considered a plus.
