Assistant Manager HR (Recruitment)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level positions across departments (Non-IT as applicable)
• Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines accordingly
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using job portals, social media, referrals, agencies, and campus hiring
• Screen and evaluate candidates through interviews, assessments, and background checks
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate onboarding in coordination with HR operations
• Mentor and guide junior recruiters or team members to achieve recruitment targets
• Maintain recruitment metrics like time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and source effectiveness
• Collaborate with external recruitment vendors and ensure service-level compliance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring regulations, and data confidentiality
• Provide regular reports and updates to HR leadership and stakeholders
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and implement best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in recruitment (agency or corporate), with exposure to managing hiring across multiple functions
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in recruitment tools (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), ATS, and HRMS systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with experience in recruitment reporting and data analysis
• Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
