Position Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan and M.P will serve as a strategic advisor and execution partner to business leaders, driving people strategy aligned with business goals. This role will focus on workforce productivity, performance management, attrition control, and talent development, while also executing key HR CoE initiatives such as manpower optimization, rewards & recognition, and training needs analysis.
Position Responsibilities
1 Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement people strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent deployment to meet evolving business needs.
- Lead change management and transformation initiatives across the vertical.
2 Performance & Productivity
-  Drive the performance management cycle, ensuring goal alignment, timely reviews, and a culture of continuous feedback.
-  Analyse productivity metrics and partner with business to implement improvement plans.
-  Support capability building through targeted interventions and development plans
3 Attrition & Retention
- Monitor attrition trends and conduct root cause analysis.
- Design and implement retention strategies including stay interviews, career pathing, and manager enablement.
- Partner with business to proactively address engagement and morale issues.
4 Talent Management & Succession Planning
-  Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning for critical roles.
-  Promote internal mobility and career development for high-potential employees.
5  Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive engagement initiatives tailored to the Liability business, retail assets and collections workforce.
- Champion a culture of recognition, inclusion, and collaboration.
6 Learning & Development
-  Ensure training and other relevant development plans are created for employees across business units in line with the banks development plan and strategy. Work directly with key stakeholders in the business to assist them in identifying their own capability gaps and solutions to enhance their ability.
7  Execution of CoE Initiatives
- Manpower Optimization: Partner with business and HR CoEs to assess workforce structure and implement optimization strategies.
- Rewards & Recognition (R&R): Execute R&R programs to reinforce desired behaviours and celebrate achievements.
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Collaborate with L&D to identify skill gaps and support the design and delivery of relevant training programs.
8 HR Operations & Compliance
-  Ensure timely resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
-  Partner with HR Operations for seamless execution of onboarding, exits, transfers, and other lifecycle processes.
-  Ensure adherence to labour laws and internal policies.
9 Data-Driven Decision Making
-  Use HR analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.
-  Present dashboards and reports to business leaders for informed decision-making. 10 Stakeholder Management
-  Build strong relationships with Zonal/Regional heads, line managers, and employees.
-  Act as a bridge between business and HR CoEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Rewards, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications and Experience Requirement Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- 05-10 years of experience in HRBP roles, preferably in BFSI.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, labour laws, and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
