We are currently hiring an experienced Accounts and Finance Specialist

🔹Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Manage accounts payable & receivable (invoicing, collections, subscription payments on credit cards).
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
• Prepare and post journal entries and accruals.
• Maintain accurate financial records.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Analyze financial performance and variances.
• Prepare financial statements—Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide financial insights for business decisions.

4. Tax Compliance:

• Assist in tax filings and audits.
• Prepare CT600 returns and VAT filings (UK).
• Advise on tax-efficient strategies (capital allowances, transfer pricing, group relief).
• Support on capital gains tax and cross-border tax matters.

5. Internal Controls:

• Support implementation of internal controls.
• Ensure accurate documentation and authorization of transactions.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with audits and tax-related tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments on finance-related queries.
  

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, BBA, MBA).
• 1–4 years of experience in finance/accounting roles with overseas clients.
• Experience in AR/AP functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, cash flow, US Tax, budgeting & forecasting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
