Head - Procurement

As the Head of Procurement at Neysa.ai, you will play a crucial role in establishing and leading a modern procurement function that is essential for the company's AI-first and cloud-native future. You will be responsible for crafting sourcing strategies, forming vendor partnerships, and implementing operational systems. Your role will encompass both strategic planning and day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient procurement of essential resources for Neysa's growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the end-to-end procurement strategy for Neysa, covering both CapEx and OpEx categories. - Lead sourcing activities for critical categories such as GPUs, cloud credits, servers, networking equipment, SaaS platforms, and consulting services. - Establish procurement policies and create scalable governance frameworks to maintain a balance between structure and agility. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast category demand accurately. - Manage and mentor procurement teams to foster innovation and continuous improvement. - Identify, assess, and engage with strategic partners, global suppliers, and niche vendors to build a robust ecosystem. - Conduct commercial negotiations, price discussions, and finalize contracts with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and flexibility. - Implement vendor scorecards and feedback mechanisms for ongoing performance evaluation. - Develop alternative supplier strategies to manage risks effectively and ensure business continuity. - Drive procurement automation through ERP systems or other tools to enhance efficiency. - Establish real-time dashboards and spend visibility systems for Finance and leadership teams. - Collaborate with Legal and Finance departments to ensure compliance with regulations, mitigate risks, and prepare for audits. - Utilize data-driven insights to make informed sourcing decisions and identify opportunities for cost savings. - Lead the establishment of scalable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation processes, and vendor onboarding playbooks. - Take charge of scaling procurement operations across different geographies and business verticals to support Neysa's growth. Qualifications: - 15+ years of procurement experience in technology, cloud services, data centers, or high-growth enterprises. - Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing for areas like cloud infrastructure, SaaS, hardware, and AI/ML services. - Strong negotiation skills, contract structuring abilities, and proficiency in vendor governance. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to convey complex technical and procurement strategies effectively. - Experience in implementing ERP tools (such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa) or modern procurement stacks. - In-depth knowledge of the technology vendor landscape and regulatory frameworks related to high-value sourcing. - Action-oriented mindset, ability to drive initiatives, and adaptability to dynamic environments.
