Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Policy Leadership

• Track and interpret

  CERC/SERC regulations, open access guidelines, wheeling charges, CSS, banking, net metering, and state EB policies

  .
• Ensure all transactions and advisory services are

  compliant

  with state and central laws.
• Liaison with DISCOMs, RLDC/SLDCs, and government bodies to smoothen approvals.

Power Trading & Deal Structuring

• Identify and connect

  industrial buyers

  with solar developers, IPPs, and EPC partners.
• Structure

  short-term and long-term PPAs

  , tariff models, and open access arrangements.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients for

  competitive tariffs

  and balanced risk allocation.

Financial & Commercial Analysis

• Build

  business cases

  for both buyers and sellers.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis (tariff comparison with DISCOM, landed cost of power).
• Advise clients on

  banking, settlement mechanisms, and billing structures

  .

Strategic Partnerships

• Build relationships with

  EPC contractors, project developers, power traders (IEX/PTC), and large industries

  .
• Represent Aadishakti in industry forums and strengthen our position as a

  trusted power trading advisor

  .

Qualifications

• 3+ years in

  power trading / regulatory / open access / renewable PPAs

  .
• Experience with

  power trading firms, IPPs, or large EPC developers

  preferred.
• Strong network with

  industries, DISCOMs, and renewable developers

  .
• Solid understanding of

  energy economics (LCOE, tariff design, landed power cost)

  .
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
