Role Description

The Head of Unit is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Ambala. The responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, managing operational teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The candidate will drive process improvement initiatives, coordinate with various departments for seamless execution of projects, monitor resource allocation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Head of Unit will be responsible for setting strategic goals to drive growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Operations Management, Production Planning, and Process Optimization.
• Strong skills in Team Leadership, People Management, and Communication.
• Knowledge of Quality Control, Health & Safety Standards, and Regulatory Compliance within the manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in Strategic Planning, Resource Allocation, and Stakeholder Coordination.
• Experience in the agrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.
• Educational qualification in Engineering, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving operational excellence and organizational growth.
