Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Project Delivery

• Lead the design and execution of end-to-end strategic Finance programs (eg. Purchase To Pay tool implementation, EPM implementation, Process Optimization..).

• Manage and mentor a distributed team of project managers.

• Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

• Ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of initiatives.


2. Governance & Risk Management

• Implement and maintain governance frameworks and reporting standards.

• Monitor project performance, manage dependencies, and escalate risks or delays when needed.

• Oversee financial tracking, budget management, and resource planning.


3. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

• Act as a key point of contact for project sponsors and executive stakeholders.

• Drive alignment across business functions and geographies.

• Contribute to the broader Finance transformation narrative through proactive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.


4. Change & Communication Strategy

• Ensure effective change management practices are embedded into all core projects.

• Collaborate with the Change Management team to support training, communication, and user adoption activities.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.


Must have:

• Experience: 12–15 years in project or program management, ideally within a Finance Transformation or Consulting environment (Big 4).

o Strong understanding of Finance processes and systems (Sage X3, Basware, Board knowledge is a plus).

• Project Skills: Solid background in governance, budget tracking, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.

o Proven experience in managing large-scale Finance transformation programs.

o Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, PRINCE2).

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and complex projects across international and matrixed organizations.

• Mindset: Strategic thinker with strong operational execution; thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership& fluency in english.
