Role: Head of Strategy & Operations Location: Gurugram, India (on-site) Description: tensorfox is a fast-moving, performance-obsessed trading firm competing in global markets. As we scale our engineering, trading, and infrastructure teams, we’re hiring a strategic operator to work directly with the founders — aligning teams, shaping growth, and driving clarity across the company. This is not a traditional COO role. It’s a cross-functional position for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and business development . You’ll evaluate teams and initiatives, support decision-making, and bring structure without slowing speed. You’ll also represent the firm externally, supporting partnerships and market-facing conversations. We’re looking for someone who can toggle between boardroom and buildroom — clear thinker, strong communicator, and natural finisher. The Mission Partner with team leads to define and execute short-, medium-, and long-term goals across trading, engineering, and infrastructure. Support planning, alignment, and operational follow-through — keeping fast-moving teams coordinated without bureaucracy. Help evaluate internal priorities, unblock teams, and shape how resources are allocated. Play an external-facing role in partnerships, ecosystem engagement, and business development. Own and improve planning rituals, status tracking, and cross-functional communication. Act as a strategic problem-solver and sounding board for the founders. The Skills and Qualifications 2–5 years at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or strategy/ops role at a high-performance tech company or fund. Strong problem-solving and planning skills — able to create structure where none exists. Comfortable interacting across technical, product, and business teams. Excellent communication — sharp in writing, calm under pressure, persuasive in meetings. High agency: a self-starter who pushes things forward without being told. Bonus: Exposure to trading, fintech, crypto, or technical markets. The Compensation Base Salary: $50,000 – 75,000 USD per year (depending on experience) Bonuses: Performance-linked discretionary bonuses available for high-impact contributors This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role for someone who thrives in a meritocratic, fast-paced environment and wants to help build a globally competitive trading firm.
