Job Description

Head of Sales NBFC

Reporting to: Chief Business Officer / MD

  • Objective: To lead the national sales strategy, drive distribution growth, and scale loan disbursements while maintaining portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute growth plans for retail and SME lending products (Home Loans, LAP, Business Loans, etc.).
  • Lead zonal/regional sales teams and channel partner networks (DSAs, DSTs, connectors).
  • Identify and onboard new partners including corporate DSAs and builders.
  • Drive sales analytics, productivity KPIs, and branch-wise performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Credit, Product, and Collections to ensure high-quality sourcing.
  • Implement sales governance, incentive structures, and compliance monitoring.
  • Build strategic alliances to support new customer acquisition and expansion.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of sales experience in an NBFC, HFC, or bank (secured/unsecured lending).
  • Proven track record in achieving volume and profitability targets.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and execution capabilities.
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing/Finance) preferred.
