Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Quality Assurance, based in Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Quality Assurance functions, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining quality management systems, supervising quality control activities, conducting internal and external quality audits, and ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.

  • The role also involves developing and enforcing quality policies and SOPs, coordinating with third-party manufacturers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and analyzing quality-related data to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining product integrity and ensuring consistent quality across the entire lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Quality Assurance systems, GMP, and Quality Management tools
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Control, Quality Auditing, and documentation practices
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, including DCGI, CDSCO, and industry best practices
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide, mentor, and manage QA teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QA or a related leadership role within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to quality governance
