About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor

  Quality Management System (QMS)

  aligned with

  ISO, TQP

  , and customer standards.

• Lead QA/QC teams

  across prepress, press and post press (conversion) for printing and packaging.
• Define and monitor quality metrics (

  KPIs

  ) including

  defect rates, rejections, customer complaints, and cost of poor quality.

• Manage

  incoming material inspections

  ,

  in-process quality checks

  , and

  final product audits

  .
• Act as the lead contact for

  customer audits, certifications, and quality-related

  communication.
• Conduct

  supplier quality assessments

  and collaborate with supply chain for vendor development.
• Ensure timely

  Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)

  implementation and closure.

• Train and develop staff

  to build strong technical expertise and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive initiatives to

  reduce waste, improve process capability

  , and move towards a

  zero-defect

  culture.
• Coordinate with each department to

  develop and update SOP’s

  and

  work instructions

  .
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and compliance reports for internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’

  experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the

  printing & packaging industry

  .
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Printing Technology, Packaging Technology

  , or related field.
• Strong knowledge of

  Offset, Flexo, Gravure, and Digital Printing processes

  .
• Experience in

  Structural packaging, printed fabric labels, woven labels and RFID hang tag

  will be an added advantage.
• In-depth understanding of

  ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, TQP

  and other quality certifications.
• Proven expertise in handling customer complaints, audits, and supplier quality issues.
• Familiarity with

  quality tools (Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Kaizen

  ).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in

  Microsoft Office

  applications, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent command of

  English, both written and verbal

  , is essential for effective communication.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to

  Navi Mumbai

  .
