Role: Head of New Business
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Cofounder
Role Overview
The Head of New Business will lead and scale ekincare new business initiatives across API-led solutions and Affinity Partnerships, with a strong focus on BFSI and non-BFSI segments. This leader will be responsible for building and validating Product-Market Fit (PMF) for new channels, driving revenue growth, and establishing scalable go-to-market strategies.
Success Metrics:
- Develop and achieve 2 year roadmap on new business verticals (B2B2C)
- Achieve 30%+ contribution of new business to total revenue within 12 months.
- Maintain CAC payback within 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Growth: Define and execute GTM for new business verticals (API-led & affinity); lead PMF for BFSI and non-BFSI segments.
- BFSI & Affinity Leadership: Build a BFSI pod; drive non-BFSI affinity growth aligned with company objectives.
- GTM & Sales Enablement: Develop sales playbooks, partnership structures, and targeted campaigns with marketing.
- Product-Market Fit: Validate offerings with product/market feedback; track PMF metrics before scaling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrate new business into core offerings, align with product, tech, and regional sales.
Requirements - Experience: 812 years in business development, partnerships, or revenue leadership, preferably in healthtech , SaaS, BFSI, or affinity-led businesses.
- Track Record: Proven success in launching and scaling new business verticals.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of BFSI partnerships, affinity channels, and API-based business models.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to build and mentor cross-functional teams for rapid experimentation and scaling.
- Strategic Thinking: Data-driven decision-making with a focus on market trends and customer needs.
- Relationship Building: Strong network within BFSI and other affinity segments.
