Key responsibilities include:
Strategy and Leadership:
- Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals for rapid yet sustainable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Partner closely with the CEO, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align on business objectives and market opportunities.
Brand Building and Positioning:
- Establish Digii as the leading brand in the higher education SaaS space, emphasizing its transformative impact on campuses.
- Develop and implement brand messaging, tone of voice, and a visual identity that resonates with educational institutions, administrators, and decision-makers.
- Build and execute a cohesive PR and media strategy to increase visibility through press releases, media coverage, and interviews.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and identity across all touchpoints, including digital platforms, marketing materials, and customer interactions.
- Regularly measure brand health metrics such as brand awareness, share of voice, and perception, using data to refine strategies.
Demand Generation and Growth Marketing:
- Design and execute integrated, multi-channel demand generation strategies that align with buyer personas, driving high-quality leads and expanding the sales pipeline.
- Optimize and scale digital marketing efforts across paid channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.), SEO, content marketing, and email campaigns to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Leverage account-based marketing (ABM) techniques to target key decision-makers in higher education institutions, personalizing outreach for maximum impact.
Product Marketing:
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring impactful adoption and customer success.
- Craft compelling value propositions, messaging, and sales enablement materials tailored to higher education administrators, educators, and decision-makers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to continuously refine positioning and pricing strategies.
Customer Engagement and Advocacy:
- Build and nurture a strong community of higher education leaders who advocate for Digii.
- Leverage customer success stories to create case studies, testimonials, and referenceable customers.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and improve retention rates
Qualifications Must Haves:
- 8-12 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of scaling a company from 1-10 or leading substantial growth phases.
- Expertise in demand generation, content marketing, digital marketing, and product marketing.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise SaaS buyer journey, especially in the education sector.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret metrics for decision-making.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience marketing to higher education institutions or knowledge of the education SaaS landscape.
- Hands-on experience with marketing tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other martech platforms.
- MBA in Marketing or related fields from a reputed institution (preferred but not mandatory).
