Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT Head to lead and manage all aspects of our school’s technology infrastructure. This includes overseeing smart classrooms, managing Smart Panels, ensuring seamless connectivity, and providing prompt IT support to staff and students. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on experience to drive digital transformation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Smart Panels, interactive whiteboards, and classroom tech tools.
Oversee and maintain the school’s IT systems including LAN/WiFi networks, servers, CCTV, and software applications.
Provide technical support and timely resolution of IT queries raised by staff and faculty.
Collaborate with academic teams to enhance digital teaching methodologies.
Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with privacy regulations.
Evaluate and implement new EdTech tools aligned with modern teaching practices.
Lead IT procurement, vendor coordination, and maintenance contracts.
Train teachers and staff on effective usage of smart classroom tools.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant experience in a similar IT management role, preferably in an educational environment.
Strong knowledge of Smart Panels, AV systems, Windows OS, networking, and educational software.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
Passion for supporting digital learning and innovation in education.
