Head of Finance

As an Accounts & Finance Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving financial discipline and ensuring the sustainable growth of the organization. Reporting directly to the Promoter, you will be responsible for overseeing various key functions such as accounting, compliance, financial planning, fundraising, and strategic initiatives like IPO preparedness and credit rating management. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will lead the finance function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. You will be instrumental in managing cash flow, fundraising initiatives, compliance with regulatory frameworks, budgeting, cost control, ERP implementation, and providing financial insights for business planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Accounting & Reporting:** - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. - Ensure timely closing of books and reconciliation of accounts. - **Finance, Fundraising & Treasury Management:** - Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund flow to ensure liquidity. - Lead fundraising initiatives including debt, equity, and structured financing. - Liaise with banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions for credit rating, loan facilities, and investor relations. - **Compliance & Audit:** - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and other applicable regulations. - Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for timely audits. - Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory and legal purposes. - **Budgeting, Cost Control & ERP Implementation:** - Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. - Monitor production costs and implement measures for cost optimization. - Drive ERP implementation, automation, and digital transformation of finance processes. - **Leadership & Collaboration:** - Lead and mentor the finance team to build efficiency and capability. - Partner with senior management and the promoter to drive financial strategy and support decision-making. - Ensure timely and accurate financial insights for business planning. **Qualifications:** - Chartered Accountant (CA) - 8-12 years of progressive experience in accounts & finance, preferably in the manufacturing/industrial sector. - Proven experience in fundraising (equity/debt), managing credit rating processes, and IPO preparation. - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, compliance, and financial regulations. - Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and financial system automation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive business growth. **Required Skills:** - Strong technical expertise in finance and accounting. - Proactive approach to financial management. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector. - Knowledge of digital transformation in finance.
