Head of Facilities Management

Role Overview: As the Head of Facility Management at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of infrastructure, engineering, soft services, and support functions within the hospital. Drawing on your experience from luxury hospitality, you will uphold five-star service standards, maintain high operational uptime, and create a safe, clean, and patient-friendly environment in adherence to NABH, JCI, and infection control standards. This key leadership role will require a blend of technical expertise and service excellence to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the patient experience. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all electrical, HVAC, plumbing, biomedical support, lifts, fire safety, BMS, and utility systems within the hospital to ensure zero downtime of critical medical infrastructure. - Manage key soft services including housekeeping, pest control, security, laundry, waste management, and front-office coordination while implementing luxury hotel-style discipline and grooming. - Ensure 100% compliance with NABH, JCI, FSSAI, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, Biomedical Waste, and other statutory bodies by maintaining up-to-date facility documentation and leading fire drills and disaster management rehearsals. - Integrate hospital hygiene standards with luxury hospitality presentation to ensure pristine interiors and surroundings, lead patient environment rounds, and ensure VIP areas reflect hotel-like comfort. - Lead minor renovation, expansion, civil works, and space planning within the hospital premises, optimizing space utilization and coordinating with architects and contractors. - Manage vendor contracts, facility budgets, and procurement in collaboration with Purchase and Finance teams, and lead, train, and mentor a team of facility supervisors, engineers, and support staff. - Drive energy conservation, water usage optimization, waste segregation, and green building practices in alignment with hospital CSR and regulatory norms. Qualification Required: - Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or Facilities/Hotel Management - Certifications in Hospital Facilities, Safety, Fire Compliance, or FM best practices preferred - PMP, Six Sigma, or ISO certification is an added advantage Additional Details: Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre is a 360-bed, multi-specialty tertiary care hospital with a focus on various medical specialties such as Cardiac Sciences, Gastroenterology, Neuro Sciences, Oncology, Orthopaedics, and Woman & Child Health.
