Role Overview:


Power Electronics


Key Responsibilities:


1. Technical & Product Leadership:

  • Lead the

    Design and Development

    of cutting-edge EV components, including I

    nverters, DC-DC converters, Onboard Chargers (OBCs), and Battery Management Systems (BMS)

    .
  • Drive

    innovation

    in power electronics with a focus on

    SiC/GaN technologies

    , high-efficiency systems, and next-gen mobility platforms.
  • Oversee full lifecycle of

    Motor Controllers, Chargers, and Powertrain Electronics

    , ensuring performance, safety, and compliance.


2. Strategic Vision & Innovation

  • Align product development with

    emerging trends

    in EV and green tech.
  • Lead

    technology scouting and partnerships

    to integrate innovative solutions and future-proof products.


3. Engineering & Compliance Oversight:


  • Ensure product and process compliance with industry standards:

    ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, ASPICE

    , and others.
  • Apply best practices in

    thermal management, EMI/EMC, and functional safety

    .
  • Drive system-level optimization through tools like

    MATLAB, PSIM, LTSpice

    .


4. Project & Resource Management:


  • Manage multiple

    development projects

    , balancing

    scope, time, and cost

    across all phases.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure

    seamless product transition

    from prototype to mass production.
  • Implement

    cost-reduction and quality-improvement

    strategies.


5. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Serve as the

    primary technical liaison

    for OEMs, clients, and strategic partners.
  • Translate customer needs into innovative product solutions and ensure

    on-time delivery

    with high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the organization in

    technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations

    .


6. Team Leadership & Culture Building:


  • Lead and mentor

    cross-functional teams

    of engineers, designers, and product managers.
  • Foster a

    culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Develop internal capabilities to support organizational growth and technical excellence.


Qualifications & Requirements:


Educational Background:


  • Must Have

    : B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.


Experience:

  • 15–20 years in

    Automotive Electronics

    ,

    EV systems

    , or

    Power Electronics

    domain.
  • Proven track record in

    scaling products from concept to production

    .


Technical Expertise:


  • In-depth knowledge of

    converter topologies

    (LLC, PFC, etc.).
  • Experience with

    motor control technologies

    : BLDC, PMSM, SRM.
  • Strong hands-on skills in

    simulation, modeling

    , and

    hardware validation

    .
  • Familiarity with

    EV systems

    : 400V–800V architectures, BMS, and chargers.
