Job Summary

Design Head

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of architects, interior designers, draughtsmen, graphic designers and support professionals.
Develop innovative design concepts for commercial/office fit-outs, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, ergonomics, corporate branding, sustainability and MEP integration.
Oversee preparation of detailed drawings, 3D models, BOQs, and technical specifications using Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ensure full compliance with National Building Code (NBC) norms, fire safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, lighting designers, vendors, contractors and PMCs for seamless project execution.
Manage design timelines, budgets, quality control and resource allocation in collaboration with project managers.
Engage clients through presentations, feedback incorporation and relationship management.
Build and leverage industry networks (clients, architectural firms, vendors) to support business development and branding.

Requirements

B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognized institution.
8+ years of experience in commercial/office interior fit-outs, with proven leadership in large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Expert proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe tools.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, building codes and sustainable practices.
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and strategic networking skills.
Ability to balance creative vision with technical precision and business goals.
