Content Head

Position: Content Head

Key Responsibilities -

Content Strategy & Planning

Own and lead the end-to-end content roadmap across web, app, social media, and marketing channels.

Content Creation & Supervision

Guide and oversee the creation of high-quality, spiritually aligned content including blogs, videos, puja guides, astrology updates, chants, festival articles, and more.

Team Management

Manage and mentor a dynamic team of writers, video editors, scriptwriters, and freelancers.

Platform Alignment

Ensure all content aligns with the platform tone, user intent, SEO best practices, and community expectations.

Collaborate Across Teams

Work closely with product, marketing, SEO, and design teams to deliver integrated storytelling and content-driven campaigns.

Trend Tracking

Stay updated on festivals, astrological events, and devotional trends to ensure timely and relevant content.

Quality Control

Ensure all published content maintains authenticity, cultural sensitivity, and spiritual accuracy.

Analytics

Track and analyze content performance using metrics like engagement, retention, SEO rankings, and continuously optimize strategy.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in content writing, editing, or strategy—preferably in the devotional, spiritual, or lifestyle space.
• Strong understanding of Indian spirituality, festivals, rituals, and traditions across regions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with SEO, content tools (CMS, Grammarly, SEMrush), and major social platforms.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and cultural sensitivity.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background in Journalism, Literature, Marketing, or Religious Studies.
• Experience with devotional video content, YouTube optimization, or podcast scripting.
• Prior experience in a consumer-facing app-based startup or spiritual/lifestyle brand.
