Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a highly experienced and well-connected professional to lead our Liaising and Institutional Sales function, specifically focused on government and institutional business for our range of medical gloves (surgical and examination). The ideal candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in government liaising and institutional sales within the medical products industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale government procurement transactions.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of public procurement, active participation in e-procurement bids, and strong relationships across central and state health departments, procurement agencies, and medical corporations. The position is based in Delhi and involves extensive travel across India.

  • Lead the companies institutional and government sales operations across India.
  • Identify, monitor, and participate in relevant government tenders and rate contract opportunities.
  • Manage the complete e-procurement lifecycle: tender tracking, documentation, submission, compliance, and follow-ups.
  • Attend and represent the company in pre-bid meetings, tender discussions, and bid opening sessions.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with:
  • Central and State Medical Supply Corporations
  • Government Hospitals, Health Departments, and Ministries
  • Defense, Railways, and PSU Procurement Divisions
  • Regularly liaise with government officials and authorities to advocate the companys product range.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tender-related documents and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain a repository of active and upcoming tenders, rate contracts, and procurement cycles.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, legal, finance, logistics) for timely bid submission and order fulfillment.
  • Drive annual revenue targets through institutional sales, particularly via government procurement channels.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in government liaising/institutional sales in the medical products or healthcare industry.
  • Strong experience in handling large-value tenders and government procurement processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with e-procurement portals such as GeM, CPPP, and state tender portals.
  • Wide network and established connections with central and state government health departments and procurement agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement norms, DGS&D rate contracts, and government pricing structures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently for pre-bid meetings, government liaisoning, and order execution.
