Functional Designation : Head HRBP - Plants

Reporting to : CHRO

Work Schedule : Mon-Fri & alternate Saturdays working

About the Role

Lead and shape the HR strategy for all 8 manufacturing sites as the Head Plant HRBP. This critical leadership role will drive productivity, ensure compliance, and propel talent development, building a culture of high engagement and operational excellence. Be a champion of our PACT (Productivity, Alignment, Compliance, Transparency) transformation and empower a digitally advanced and future-ready HR team.

Key Responsibilities

- Culture & People Leadership: Champion the PACT change program, aligning shop-floor teams with our core values. Design and implement HR initiatives fostering leadership and strong employee engagement.

- HR Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive HR policies and governance metrics for all plants, ensuring strategic goals become actionable plans.

- Talent Development: Drive people development and succession planning. Implement performance management, skill gap analysis, and targeted training interventions.

- Manpower & Cost Management: Lead strategic manpower planning aligned to business forecasts. Oversee HR budgets and optimise staffing for productivity.

- Performance Management: Manage goal-setting, appraisals, and talent reviews. Ensure discipline, fairness, and transparency in performance management.

- Employee Engagement & Retention: Customise engagement initiatives, analyse attrition trends, and lead retention strategies for top talent.

- Labour Relations & Compliance: Ensure full compliance across all sites, manage union interactions, and represent the company with authorities.

- Team Management: Mentor and lead HR heads across sites, fostering high performance and collaboration.

Stakeholder Management:

- Internal: CHRO, Leadership, COEs, Plant/Site Heads

- External: Government, Labour Dept., Unions, Legal, Auditors, Recruitment Partners

What We're Looking For:

- 15+ years of progressive HR experience - must include significant plant and corporate HR exposure, preferably across multiple manufacturing locations.

- Strong experience in labour relations, statutory compliance, influencing stakeholders, and driving culture change.

- Post-graduate qualification - MBA (HR) or MSW preferred.

- Certifications like SHRM-SCP/SPHR a plus.

- Key skills: Data analytics, strategic thinking, problem solving, business acumen, effective team leadership.
