𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Head – Engineering (Capital Equipment)

Location: Mumbai / India

Reporting To: Senior Management / Board

Level: Leadership Role

Compensation: ₹35–50 LPA

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞

We are seeking a highly accomplished engineering leader to head the Engineering function for complex capital equipment and heavy engineering solutions. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving engineering excellence, product innovation, cost optimization, and on-time delivery across large-scale projects. The role requires strong technical depth, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business goals, product roadmap, and growth plans.

Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.

Own end-to-end product design, development, standardization, and lifecycle management of capital equipment.

Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.

Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, quality, project management, and sales teams for seamless execution.

Ensure compliance with global engineering standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.

Support customer engagements, technical reviews, and customization for complex domestic and international projects.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠

Proven leadership experience in capital equipment or heavy engineering environments.

Strong expertise in product engineering, project execution, and cross-functional coordination.

Ability to balance innovation, cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

Exposure to global customers, standards, and large turnkey projects (preferred).

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

BE / BTech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred).

15–20 years of experience in capital equipment or heavy engineering industries.

Demonstrated success in leading large engineering teams and complex projects.
