Head- Cell Quality

Purpose/Objective

The Head Cell Quality leads the development and implementation of comprehensive quality strategies for solar cell manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages the quality team, and collaborates with stakeholders to maintain high product quality and efficiency across all manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Safety : - Follow and promote safety guidelines during inspections and quality checks, contributing to a safe work environment. Innovation: - Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies and technologies to enhance solar cell efficiency and performance. Digitalization/Data-Driven Decision Making: - Oversee the integration of digital tools and data analytics to drive improvements in solar cell quality control processes and decision-making. Organizational & Culture Building: - Cultivate a high-performance team focused on continuous improvement, excellence, and alignment with the company’s vision for solar cell quality. Leadership in Change Management: - Guide the team through the adoption of new processes, technologies, and quality systems, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained performance. Strategic Direction: - Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for solar cell manufacturing, aligning with industry standards and company goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency. Quality Management Systems: - Establish and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliant quality management systems tailored to solar cell production. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols for all stages of cell manufacturing. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC 61215, IEC 61730, and UL 1703. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting solar cell manufacturing and ensure adherence. Process Improvement: - Lead the implementation of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other methodologies to optimize the quality of solar cells. Identify and mitigate risks in the manufacturing process through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Stakeholder Communication: - Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to address and resolve quality issues. Communicate quality performance metrics and improvement plans to senior management and other stakeholders. Team Leadership: - Manage and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Conduct regular training sessions on industry-specific quality standards and best practices.
