Head Barista Hyderabad

Role overview

Looking for a Head Barista to lead the coffee operations at a caf in Hyderabad, ensuring consistently high-quality beverages and a great guest experience. This role combines hands-on coffee preparation with team leadership, menu input and day-to-day coordination at the coffee bar.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and manual brew coffees, following standard recipes and presentation.
Take guest orders accurately, make recommendations and explain different coffee options and brewing styles.
Oversee daily coffee bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, stock availability and smooth workflow during peak hours.
Support menu planning for coffee and related beverages, including suggesting new drinks and seasonal offerings.
Train, guide and supervise baristas, ensuring consistent beverage quality and strong customer service standards.
Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and caf supplies, and coordinate with management for ordering.

Required skills and experience

Proven experience as a senior barista or head barista with strong hands-on skills in espresso, latte art and coffee brewing methods.
Good knowledge of coffee beans, roast levels, grind size, brewing parameters and caf equipment.
Experience in order taking, customer interaction and handling busy service environments.
Demonstrated team leadership experience in a caf or QSR environment, with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
Strong communication skills, customer-focused attitude and willingness to work flexible shifts in Hyderabad
