About Quin
Quin is redefining smart safety with real-time event detection and data-driven response systems that save lives. We embed our proprietary technology into helmets and wearables through B2B partnerships with global brands. With a strong foothold in motorcycling and a strategic focus on Cycling and Industrial Safety, our technology is already trusted by top names across the U.S. and Europe. We’re a fast-moving, purpose-driven team building industry-leading technology that brings intelligence into safety gear. If you’re ready to take ownership end-to-end design and development of complex PCB —this is your opportunity.
About The Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer with 3 to 5 years of industry experience to play a key role in the design, development, and validation of our next-generation electronic systems. This role requires a deep understanding of board-level design and a solid grasp of system architecture. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to lead technical efforts from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design and development of complex multi-layer PCBs for embedded systems, including schematic capture, layout review, and component selection.
- Analog and digital circuit design expertise, including interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.).
- Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust system integration.
- Optimize system performance for power and signal integrity across multiple form factors.
- Support design reviews and help define hardware architecture for new product lines.
- Interact with vendors and CM partners to manage BOMs, prototypes, and pre-production builds.
- Contribute to documentation, test plans, and design validation processes to ensure long-term reliability and scalability.
- Experience with BLE, BLE Mesh and Wi-Fi hardware design.

- Hands-on experience with common lab/debug tools (oscilloscope, DMM, logic analyzer, etc.).
- Solid understanding of signal integrity, power delivery, EMI/EMC considerations, and DFM.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital design, power supply design, or RF fundamentals is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working independently and influencing design decisions across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for production-scale hardware at consumer or industrial grade.
- Exposure to compliance testing (FCC, CE, etc.).
- Knowledge of hardware/firmware interface debugging.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Altium or Cadence Allegro
- Exposure to wireless SoCs and embedded system design.
